So im guessing after numerous 2008 and 2009 lancer owners go to the dealership throughout the nation dealers must have caught on to the "Evo Look", word must have gotten back to mitsubishi and now they are trying to profit off of it.





139 ! Consider it does come with a DE grille that cost 100 or so new so I guess its not totally bad but still if only the listened and created solutions to the other problems we have.

Also look out for a rear diffuser that they should be releasing soon for $200 no idea what it looks like though


I can only anticipate a $50.00 ralliart kit look to come out soon.

a rear diffuser to cancel out the dimple for the factory exhaust would be nice. something simple to give chance to people to add a dual outlet and not look like crap with the single dimple on the right side. just an idea

 

They just released a rear diffuser the same time as the black-out kit. They have no pics yet so I'm waiting for Russell M to get some pics and more info.

i dont understand why people would want to make their lancer look like an evo... why not just spend that money to make it perform better?

i wouldnt say its dumb. i just dont like lancers, there's nothing to em. at least with a base impreza you get AWD. I dont really see the point in buying one, they have nothing that the competition doesnt have and they're not even attractive cars. If i was looking for a car comparable to a lancer, i would definitely get something else. Just my personal preference, thats all.

 

^^^Wow. Somebody is having a bad day. You should be thanking the Lancer owners. Without them, there would be no Evo. Mitsu profits from selling tons of Lancers and then spends some of that money to play around and make the Evo. I doubt Mitsu makes that much money selling a few thousand Evo's a year. Stick to the Evo forum if you are cranky.

 

I'm asking this out of curiosity, not to ball bust: How are they not attractive? The X is pretty similar to the base Lancer. What sets one apart from the other in your eyes?

 

haha, im not cranky. i just answered that guys question as to why i dont like lancers. i dont care how much money Mitsu makes from selling anything, if there was no Evo im sure some other company would step in to fill the gap in the all wheel drive turbo sedan market, in which case i would still be in an sti.

why makes them not attractive ? are you a moron they are practically the same looking car, oh the evo has the hood the fron bumper and the wide fenders and a rear diffuser. nothing a few dollars cant take care of.
