I run my XM thru the aux inputs on the base deck (09 RA) and due to the fact that the XM takes a few seconds to boot, the deck will default back to AM everytime I turn the car on (very annoying).

Is there a way to turn the stereo off and have it REMAIN OFF when I turn the car back on?

I have been able to do it a couple of times, but I can't do it repeatedly.

Any help would be appreciated (there's nothing as soothing as blaring static every morning when I turn the car on)

 

i'm not too familiar with ur setup but if its that bad u can wither put a on/off switch on your radios ACC wire (not the +12v constant) that way you can turn it on when you want without losing the radios memory or just put a relay on it. so its further delayed and might not come right on.
