All this talk about my hubcaps

Well since all you guys were hating because i had hubcaps on my lancer I bought these

What do you guys think 17's

im sure ANY rims will look better than them...
im not flaming u though, u know its a work in progress and ur getting there. anyone whos not loaded with $ has to start somewhere.

ps, u looking to go with a new paintjob or u going with that teal lookin color?

thanx but yeah i am low on cash, but anyways its not teal, it blue but i actually do wanna go with a new paint job, i love rally red!!

Gunmetal or aluminum rims on blue looks great in my opinion. I would go with 16s and give it a drop though (if you haven't already). 17s or greater is just going to slow this car down and make your rotors look tiny.

Well i couldn't find any cheaper rims that had gun metal, i love that color too, but i just dont have that much cash, being i am a student so i went for something that was a little cheaper and im broke half the time and Hmm i didnt really think about the rotors, but oh well i like 17's and im just glad to get rid of the hubcaps and im actually planning to give it a drop soon

haha i definitely feel you on the poor student aspect. 17s should be perfectly fine, Im really really really picky about rims but I think on a blue car almost anything works! They will be such a huge improvement over the hubcaps that I don't think anyone could nitpick you on that one. Let us know how they feel and post some pictures!

yup being a student and having no money sucks, but yeah for sure ill post some pics!!

yeah thats what i would of done, but unfortunately my lancer came with hubcaps, but i have alot of freinds that have stock painted rims and they look nice!

Painted? Any pics? I know your OZ rims are different than mine but I would still like to see them...


The rims will look good , those hubcaps that were on it imo were worse than the factory ones.
