Has anyone been able to find official word from Mitsu detailing the following or any additional information.

Hatchback version will be added for the GTS and Ralliart trim
ASC standard on all trims
Ralliart taillights on all trims
ABS standard on DE now
New meter design with mono color MID (DE/ES)
New high contrast meter with full color MID (GTS/RALLIART)
Restyled 16" Alloy (ES)
New I/P accent trim (GTS/RALLIART)
Additional interior chrome on hvac control and shift panel (GTS/RALLIART)
Larger side air dam (ES SPORT PKG/GTS/RALLIART)
New front lower console accessory box lid (GTS/RALLIART)
Leather wrapped parking brake (GTS/RALLIART)
Heated leather seats added to touring package (GTS)
Rockford Fosage upgraded to 710 watts (SUN&SOUND)
New windshield glass, new cup holder lid, solar UV door glass...

 

I know i am holding my breath but I am still waiting for Mitsubishi to approve the Taiwan versions for sale in north america to boost sales . I cant figure out why they are being so dumb about this!!! I dont like to be too critical about Mitsu, but I just think their focusing too much on the teen market and ignoring the rest of the demographics

 

It has nothing to do with marketing anything. Safety and emissions standards are a world apart between North America and Taiwan. Mitsubishi's purse strings are tight enough as it is - they're not going to front the cost of retooling production facilities on a whim that the car might be well received in North America. Maybe down the line a bit - but certainly not now.

 

that and the lancer is doing particularly good here in the usa at least i think it is when i see them all over the place being driven by the young and old.


i like the rear bumper of the Taiwan version but thats about it. the look of the lancer is nice, some of us might just be tired of it, i know ive had this model lancer since april 2007 and its kinda getting boring but i like new things every 3 months ( i get a new cell phone about every 4-6 months) but since upgrading from an 08 es to an 09gts i have been revived and love the lancer again.

 

thats weird now all lancers are coming with RA tails...i think the red ones look better on some colors vs another.

as for the other version lancer i dont like it at all..i think its ugly and wouldnt sell here

 

I agree. the front of the tai lancer looks like older US lancers...which are sorta not cool..as in ugly.

 

i like the rear of the tiawan version, front is a little blah except for the projectors. The whole thing is kinda a mix of the galant and the lancer..

anyways i wish mitsu would finally put out a press release with official specs and pricing of the 2010 lancer
