08+ Lancer and Ralliart Concept X body kit
Figured I'd throw this up to see if anyone else might be interested. Been talking with a few 3d cad modelers, foam plug cutting company and a few others to see what its going to take to get a kit made of the original concept X. It would be exclusive to the 08+ lancer and ralliart guys only since the evo x has the flared rear fender arches are rear door panels which wont allow the kit to work. Kit would require 20x10" rims with proper offset. We obviously cant do much about the roof line or the shape of the rear quarter window but aside from that minor detail it should look the same.
So for for parts list were looking at
Front bumper
headlights
fenders
hood
side skirts
upper door trim & quarter panel trim (6 pieces)
rear fender flairs
rear bumper and diffuser
tail lights
Right now the hardest part is getting 85% of the kit to be a bolt on, while the rear fender flairs, and door trim will have to be molded to the body. Were also looking into the dot issue with new headlights and tail lights but I cant see it being too big of a problem since veilside uses new headlights and tail lights for their rx7 widebody kit (toyko drift)
Due to how involved the kit is and the amount of parts needed it would not be cheap by any means. If this were to become available and mostly everything could bolt on or plug in aside from the above flares and door trim mentioned, what realistically would you be willing to pay?

This would be pretty incredible. I love the concept X look. I'm sure it will be fairly expensive if the kit is made well and fits. If I owned a new lancer and was in to body kits I would probably pay like 2k for that. I've never really been into cosmetics though so I know I won't. But that would look awesome

The headlights and taillights would sell like hotcakes!
Not saying that you wouldn't sell a few kits, but everyone seems to be waiting for headlights and taillights right now...
A company in Malaysia seems to be the first to come out with aftermarket taillights:

...only problem is...they are in Malaysia...
If a North American company started making stuff like this...just imagine. lol

doesn't look like it.. realistically we'd need a group buy of probably 6 or more guys willing to pay $3500 for the kit, with 40% up front...
I'll update this thread if an investor wants to put some money down to get the ball rolling but at this point, the market looks slim...
