Can I Run Nos With Forged Pistons?

Hey,
If i get Forged pistons installed can i run NOS safely without hurting my engine? If so how much? And if not what can i do to run NOS safely?

i think boe said once that the reason you could not nos is cuz you could not retard the ignition timing 10 degrees as that is what was needed for say a 50 shot. maybe now since you can get ecu's you can have one programed to have the timing retarded if you could it would work maybe even for stock pistons

Nitrous oxide is not a bad idea, as long as your engine is built for it. Assuming you're not running a HUGE shot, forged pistons (maybe forged rods while you're at it), colder plugs, along with retarded ignition timing should really do the trick. And just like any form of power adder, fuel management is the key.
