alright guys, I'm going to let them total the car. I'll just buy a replacement OZ rally with less miles with the money they give me. Thanks for all your imput. Also, I'll probably have some parts to sell off, like the exhaust and any stock parts that are not damaged.

Get rid of it. Sell all the parts including the Body Kit on the forums. And then go out and get an EVO.

yeah dude, totaling it is your best option, if you play your cards right you can make some money by parting out. Take the money and run

The gap insurance basically covers the rest of the lien on your car note after the insurance pays what they want to pay ..it saved my *** when i totaled my stratus and still oweed 5 g's on it .. just make sure you get it when u get your next car i've got it on my lancer and i'll have it on every car i've got a lien on

Alot of people are telling you to take the cash. Looking at you car tho the damage looks to be all body. But if the insurance company is even telling you to total it, do it. Maybe there is more wrong than the picture shows. If it is just strictly body work like replacing the quarter panel or a hood. I would have them fix it as long as there wasnt any frame damage and they used completey new panels. I say this because you stated you owed 15 but the insurance co would give you 11k Putting you 4k upside down. Most insurance companies will not want to total a car at all if they could avoid it body work is sometimes cheaper.

Dude, Its totalled. If you really want to you can sue the city for not marking off the construction zone, because they are at fault for creating such a hazard. If need be you can also buy your baby back for real cheap and sell all the parts to other people who have wrecked and make most of the money back. But face it you are in Iraq, and you are going to have crap loads of money when you get back!!! P.S. I will be over there to relieve some of you guys on Dec. 1st GO ARMY!!
