My baby is dead

well, my friends like the title says my baby is dead. While I'm stationed in Iraq, my sister decides to take my car for a joy ride and ends up getting in an accident. The insurance sent me pictures, and as u can see in the pic, the right front side is pretty banged up. Insurance wants to give me 11G's and total the car, but I want to fight it. Look at the damage and tell me what you think. I have a EVO VII kit on the way, so I figure all I really need them to replace is the fender and light, along with some of the engine work. Tell me what you guys think.

Note: The interior and rest of the car suffered no damage whatsoever, and most of my mods are still intact.

well, from what the insurance lady told me, the engine block itself is not damaged in the least, just the radiator and parts along the right side..I owe like 15G's on the thing, and I'm really attached

ouch sorry to hear that.

i would just take the money, and get a used lancer for like 11000 and be done with it then you only owe 4,000 more total and you can still use your body kit.

she was going home i guess and the city didnt mark off a construction zone and she wound up in it and hit a parked truck and slip partially under it. the police report says shes not at fault and she was only going 30 in a 35

Damn dude, sorry to hear. If there is no damage to the drive train you might be able to get it fixed but it will probably not "feel right" ever again. Had a car that was border line on being totaled, had it fixed and never felt the same again . Good luck, and at least nobody was hurt.

P.S. Hope ya get back soon from Iraq, safe and sound!! From a retired Airborne Trooper!!
