Lowering spring problems

anyone has installed the TEIN S-TECH lowering springs to the Lancer 08, do you guys had or have any problem with the steering? Every time i turn the steering wheel to any direction there is something that sounds like broken, and is only in the front/right side wheel where it sounds, before with the stock springs this was not happening. any suggestion?

Jean

Same thing happened to mine(I own 2 Lancers a 08 and 02 ) , it was a strut not tightened enough.

Take off the wheel and tighten all the bolts , do the same with the top mount bolts ( Center and 3 around.

That was the worst thing you could have done , now your warranty will be voided and they will not fix it .

Sorry to tell you , but unless you have a good friend there you made a bad choice .

Its possible that you didn't set them into the seat on the strut/mount correctly and they made noise until they seated themselves. I can't be sure as I don't have the springs to compare my experience to, but this was an issue for a few people when they were first released.

they didnt fix it, the sounds remains...they told me that the sound is the result of lowering the car , i would go to another place, and about the warranty you say it right "unless a good friend" . Now im thinking, could the front/right spring be damaged?

So did they try and void the warranty ?
What else did they say about lowering the car?
Or did it not go to the dealer?

no they didnt told me anything about the warranty, they just told me that for the installation I should have take the car to them to ensure the springs to not give any problems, like now...and with the warranty i changed the window plush so i think there is no problem.
