Well said, b, so far, I haven't had any bad personal encounter with any member. There were couple of incidents but things get solve fairly easily and personally (not on open forum).

 

OK...question. What is the JOB of a "Moderator" If it is to Montior the use of the forum and take people out that miss use the forum by any way, then why are you posting to peoples coments. just Montior. If it gets to out of hand, click them out. Don't be so nice. But hey...that come from a person with a military back round.

 

That's how we (I'm speaking for the others) try to approach the whole thing, to monitor. However, certain members get all upset and start having steam out of their head because "their" threads got deleted and edited. We did such things out of certain valid reasons, not out of "I don't like this guy and just delete all his/her posts" kind of attitude.

However, some members just don't understand this idea.

Our job is to make sure that members of this forum are given an avenue to learn and talk about all aspects of their car. We moniter the site so that it stays free of garbage posts, posts in the wrong forums, and members who want to cause trouble. When people step out of line they recieve a warning, if they continue to post garbage they will be banned, along with any other member names that belong to them, newly created one's after the banning will also be banned. Aside from that you are free to talk about your car, and other topics (in specific forum) till your hearts content.

 

You have a point. So I guess you guys ("Moderator") have some talkin to do..lol. What ever, I have fun going to this site...
