RRM sells their replacements for their SRI, costs about 49 bucks before shipping. They last a long time, then again most SRI filters have a pretty long lifespan.

Here's the link, for your convenience ;p

it's to the 2008 model SRI....but the cones aren't all that different in size. can just get a hose clamp and retro fit it!

With proper care aren't filters suppose to last a lifetime?

for the most part, an SRI filter will last over 100k miles before it is "recommended" to change it....i guess it depends on the conditions you drive in, and the exposure the filter has (air scoops, splashguard integrity etc)

if you live somewhere like a desert area, or there's a lot of construction there could be a lot of dust / dirt you could potentially suck into the filter

just my 2 cents though!

I clean and oil my K&N filter every 15K... but because I have my lancer parked right now and haven't driven it in 6 months it hasn't been cleaned. Maybe time to clean it.

I have the RRM SRI and its a K&N cone filter that they use, to which I believe can be cleaned with a simple cleaning kit from K&N that costs about $15.

Link for your convenience.
