Hey all
found something interesting on the roof of the car the other week. brought it into mitsu, and said they would send it off. that was about 2 weeks ago.
i dropped by today and asked for an update, the said the main guy in ontario is on vacation, ok no biggy. I really dont care if it gets fixed a year from now as long as it does.

The also told me the service mgr says it looks like chips. not sure what pics they took but mine has super macro. and in person 100% no chips that i can see. and i have a few on the hood and the famous road rash near the rear wheel. they have no rust. its less then a year old.

Not only is there one but there are two, one on the drviers side on the roof about 1cm in from the black strip, between the front and back door.
the other one is almost in the same spot on the pass side. about 1cm in from the strip but this one is back a little further, about middle of the back door.

looks like chips in this one cause refection of the sun

but not in these, you can see the rust coming through.










thoughts? In person you can see no chips scraps, anything.
I sent them an email with my pics and im going to take some more tonight incase it gets worse so i have a timeline.

 

Looks like bubbling paint due to underlying rust. It should be covered under warranty, but it probably won't be.
