so what you basically have is catback piping with no resonator and muffler, not a straight pipe

ideal setup for sound and power on lancer is header, downpipe, highflow cat and then piping to the muffler. 2.25 is the most and least you want to go

ive heard about headers making the lancer sound bad ?!
imma need some tho cause my downpipe has quite a big hole in it and well headers and downpipe come in a combo most of the time

i know I talked with them and with some upgrades like exhaust, the turbo , and all the intake stuff you came get. You can run with stock evos

Uh no, RRM makes the parts, of course they're going to tell you things like this. I had every bolt-on RRM part they made or stocked and followed their upgrade path rather well yet when I dynoed my car, my gains were ridiculously low. When I talked to someone at RRM about it, I was told my parts were not well thought out, despite them being RRM parts. You're need far more than just their basic turbo kit to run with stock Evos. If you're talking about drag racing, stock Evos can lay down 13s comfortably and 12s if you're a damn good driver. I don't know of any Lancer with these times except maybe the RRM shop car. At a track, a stock Evo would run circles around you. On the street, you'll need to up the boost, run good tires and I suspect some other parts (possibly internals) to hang with a stock Evo.

thats ends by saying that the lancer is an economical sedan, like every other economical cars that have been modified so actually it needs ALOT of money to go fast! and its hard on an engine made of aluminum, that car they have at RRM is probly maxed out in internals.
but sure is a fun car to drive, i love the backfires i get from the straight pipe and imma soon get a short shifter and thatll be it
oh and Amby thats one good faq you made about lancers, so it says in it that any evo short shifter would fit ? then i guess im getting an Agency Power short shifter

is it a gurgle type of popping that you hear? i had a cat back on my V6 truck and when i down shifted on that it would pop and gurgle mostly from being too small your loss of MPG is probly from rideing it a lil too hard. lol.
