HELL NO! Only an EVO X

 

I bought a brand new EVO MR...I test drove the Lancer ralliart sportback...all reports say that the Lancer Ralliart is the best car available for the price...we call them mini EVO's. I got such a good price on my EVO brand new that I couldn't refuse. I would have been fine with the Lancer...very nice car...I might regret this decision when I do my first brake job for around $2000.

 

Only if its wan Evo. I regret buying the lancer everytime I see an Evo 8 or 9, subaru, Civic SI, or any used car really. Don't get me wrong, the Lancer is a great overall car, its just not fast enough for me. But I just bought a 1994 Honda Del Sol that im doing a motor swap and turbo to. That thing will be fast. Now im just making the lancer a comfortable and fun DD that looks nice.

 

I fell in love with the mits styling... so, yes... we'll see how my car holds up over the new few years. I want something with a little more power and speed.

this question isnt really fair though... too many people are saying they wouldnt, only an evo. that is comparing apples and oranges when it comes to price. its like people who test drive sonatas and then say they dont like it because the 335i has X feature... well, yeah... look at the msrps! if the lancer is 22 and the evo is 38 then that isnt even fair

 

another base lancer? no, a ralliart/evo? yes..the lancer has great looks but mistu just failed on the performance side.. i mean putting a sporty looking car in 08 with only 152hp? thats just sad..

seeing a lancer with 200hp in competition with the Si,Sentra SE-R and other vehicles..then i would think about getting another lancer.
