And let the rending of garments begin!

If anything, it's probably going to be heavier than the X. Why? Less aluminum panels.

Unless the old AWD system was significantly lighter than the SAWD, which I doubt, then the Ralliart will probably be the same or more heavy than the X.

Regular Lancer fenders?! All you guys wanting to upgrade your rims will be limited with those. Time to get the fender roller out or do some major body work.

??????What are you talking about? I highly doubt the ralliart is going to be heavier. Actually I am almost 100% sure that it wont. The panels, are soo over rated its not even funny. What are we talking about total...maybe 25-30 pounds big whoop. The ralliart will use the same awd system that will be in the X. It will be ligther due to less options. Navigation...heated seats..leather...big brakes....smaller rims..ect. I would def be game for a car like this...

The car itself will be a bit smaller (width) and I bet less sound deadening. Take a GTS and add the weight in for the AWD and turbo. All in all, im guessing it will probably weigh in maybe 100 - 150 pounds lighter than the X.

Don't forget to add in the weight for the SST, FMIC, UICP, LICP, etc, etc. Still won't weigh as much as the Evo but it might be pretty darn close. Either way, it won't be light either

Yep I pretty much agree with you on the potential weight of an AWD Ralliart as it will be basically based on a regular Lancer chassis (not the reinforced heavier Evo X chassis). Current GTS with CVT weights in at 3109lbs (GTS with manual tranny weights in at 3032lbs), slap an AWD system (which won't be the same as found in Evo X but more similar to US spec Evo IX AWD) along with a reinforced engine with a turbo and you can add about 150-200 pounds to the GTS which will give you around 3200-3250lbs for the manual tranny version and probably around 80lbs more for the SST version.

Either way, the car will probably offer a 5.6-5.8 0-60 time (similar to WRX).
