Well i have a pretty bad trunk leak which at times causes my trunk to flood so bad that water covers the spare. Things are starting to rust pretty bad and i need to get this fixed.

I know there is a plug located under the spare but I can't get it to open? I have banged on it a few times but I'm starting to think I'm doing something wrong.



I have on 02 ES... Any help on how i can get it to open? Bang harder lol?

 

I believe they can be pried up. They are pushed in from above and secured with silicone.
