Good News About Buschur
Dave posted this to a bulletin board
We just ran 8.02 and 8.07 at 170 mph at Atco a few
weeks ago. We actually
turned the boost down, after finding it way to high,
four pounds. We
unloaded the car and made a pass tonight. The pass
felt so smooth and slow I
never even pulled the parachute. The guy at the ET
shack was smiling like
mad when I pulled up. I said, "How ya doing?". He said
good and handed me my
slip. When I looked at it I started yelling and
laughing, so did he. Then I
knew why he was smiling. The car ran 7.94 at 171.66
mph. That is it's first
7 second run. Best MPH by 5 mph at Norwalk.
There is still tons left in the car. IF we ever get a
torque converter in it
that is right it should pick up 3 tenths and 4-6 mph
instantly.

Yeah, funny thing is I tried calling him yesterday and he was off doing that.
I was talking to David Buschur today cuz of fitment issues with the cat-back exhaust and he mentioned the 7 sec run. Funny thing is the car's RWD. Certainly ain't gonna find a car like that comin' off the lot.
Now if only my exhaust would sit properly and not melt my bumper I'd go and recommend it to everyone.

No noticable gains, much more even powerband. I'll post a review soon in the review section. The hanger issue has me really annoyed right now, but I can't say they haven't been helpful. Nice people.
