So I m going to be buying a evo 9 front bumper(to fit a fmic), a evo 9 wing, and jdm evo 8 bumper so car will need paint anyways. I was thinking maaco paint for like $800.00 or so. Whats some non stock colors that would look good with the oz's lines. Mind you I have white now and I hate it.

After looking around maybe a flat black or slate grey?

Well I ll hobble around for the next 2 1/2 weeks till I get paid then I ll replace it asap. Luckly I have a lot of connections so It will probably only run me $200 or so for part and install.

Well buying the part with shipping-$80ish + $100 for my friend to install. That was easy, now just to order the part asap.

I love black (a little biased) but I don't think our cars are aggressive enough to pull off the flat black look. Also, can't get enough the color red, but paint is all about your opinion and what you like

I would NOT go with maaco...you will be extremely unsatisfied. Find someone who has auto body experience and there own shop and maybe they can do it for around $1000. I mean ultimately it's up to you but I have seen nothing but crap that lasts 6 months out of Maaco. As far as colors go, a dark blue would look good, or dark purple even if you are that ballsy. I think flatblack is a dieing trend(hopefully) but it would'nt look to bad...especially with a FMIC .

Gunmetal Gray or Cherry Red are both very good choices! I like Gray but I am bias.

Exactly. There was a guy in my town with a Honda accord and he got a $300 maaco paint job....the car was red before...they painted it black...2 months later the black start chipping off and red was underneath

.you do know that the oem evo 8/9 body parts wont fit a reg lancer w/o heavy moddiciation right ? the rear is not a direct fit, it will req work [ see> https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...4g63t-rwd.html > the front if its like the 02-03's it would be a direct fit but u would need the headlights, front drivers and ppass quartr panels, etc.. ask turbotime as hes the one who done it b4.. he prolly can helpp you out on info and such

Yah i m thinking I ll just touch up the paint. I got a call on the car today for $8,000.00. Unfortanely the front left axle is shot and oem will run me $500 so I m doing minor mods till I sell the car.
