Exhaust mpg big drop?

Just wondering what everyone is putting out now . I get like 33 to 35 on the highway before my exhaust so I want to know what people are getting better I chop my exhaust haha

larger diameter favors an increase in HP but may harm low end TQ.

if you are running an exhaust that preserves or enhances the TQ curve then you may see an increase in MPG (potentially, depends on what the mod does to your Air Fuel ratio)

Further more its likely that if you had a 2.4L the drop would in MPG would be less since the increase in volume would likely increase backpressure vs. the 2.0L

I wouldnt worry about it, upgrading to a 4-2-1 header will correct or balance things off. Even a 4-1 header will do the trick.

I noticed no difference in MPG whatsoever with my 2.5" catback. You might lose some MPGs because you will want to get on it a bit more to hear the exhaust though.

if you do a whole cat back, try to go for something around 2.5mm diameter at most because with a 3mm you will lose hp and probably mpg as well... if your car is turbo then go for 3mm

poor mpg

Ineed help my mpg on my 02 rally is like 20 mpg less than 200 miles on a full tank can some body help me
No gas leak no smell car runs fine what could it be?

Could be an 02 sensor, when mine went bad I got about 22mpg and after I replaced it, it went back up to 29ish.
