Exclamation Missing some sensors i think? please help.

G'day, I own a Lancer and it has a 4g94 engine in it. It was changed over before i bought it and they forgot to replace a few sensors. but i have no clue what ones they are. so im in need of some help. here are the pictures of what i see are missing.






Any help is appreciated.

those are your cylinder 2 and 4 coilpacks which then in turn 2 sparks 3 and 4 sparks 1. you aint going too far without spark...

The car runs, just ****ty. Takes 3 minutes to start it up on a cold start and idles too high. so what are they exactly called?

You need coils man...i wouldnt run the car without them...go to auto zone and get two "spark plug coils" The coil is a simple device -- essentially a high-voltage transformer made up of two coils of wire. One coil of wire is called the primary coil. Wrapped around it is the secondary coil. The secondary coil normally has hundreds of times more turns of wire than the primary coil. basically you need them to drive and have your engine running normally!

Okay, one thing though. the spark plugs have leads from them to the distributor cap. all 4 of them. which ones do i disconnect and what not?

You more then likely have an older series 4G93 with a distributor so you have no need for coil packs .

but the connections for the coilpacks are still connected.. my mate got electrocuted while touching them

It'd be more helpful if you posted a picture of your own engine bay so people have a clue what you're talking about
