Okay...my two cents: Rice is just any type of car mod thrown really out of proportion or that is completely and utterly nonsense/useless. Huge exhaust are annoying and don't do to much good. Big *** wings in the back are ridiculous since most imports are FWD. Body kits are mostly rice but for say like turbo apps, they're useful since they usually allow a sizeable increase in intercooler exposure to cool air, that and some body kits try to reduce aero lift with rear valences (those slits in the back, that air travels through, look for 'em sometime). Hell, a useful kit piece would be the one on the Wings West RSX that rests on the hood. It's like a spoiler for the front to keep downforce on the drive wheels.

 

I don't consider my car rice, I mean I sure cannot eat it. Has anyone tried yet? How does it taste? How do you manage to cook it? Any suggestions please help... Thank you.

 

That's just a really awkward mental image of picturing someone trying to gnaw on their steering wheel in traffic or biting the tire while washing the car...

 

It all comes down to one thing: as long as the owner of the car likes, then who cares. They are the ones who gotta drive it around. There are many different options to choose from when changing the exterior and adding performance mods because everyone has different tastes. Nobody should pick on anyone elses car just because they don't like.

Seriously guys.....some of you really need to cut the sh*t. I mean really, if someone wants to rice out there car and have it look all nice then let them go for it. But dont go out and bash them. You can rice out a car for ALOT cheaper than it would cost for performance stuff.

You might see a riced out civic going down the road with a muffler louder than a 2 stroke....but if it brings that guy happiness and its his pride and joy and he/she keeps it clean then good for them, least they have something to show.

Now if your a thief and go and steal your rice off someone elses pride and joy.....by all means....you SHOULD be shot. I dont mean to be rude or anything....but if I saw ANYONE touching my car or trying to take something from it....they wouldnt be walking away. An ambulance would be taking them out on a stretcher.

and NO **** you can rice out a car cheaper then adding good quality mods, that's cause when you buy your roll of shiny duct tape to make your off center "racing stripes" or use a hammer to smash the innards out of your cat to make it "sound cool" we make fun of you.

That was not intended to be a joke. If I have to pay for my own car and someone else can't afford one and they going around stealing other peoples stuff.....they WILL be crippled.

But how many times do we have to go over this topic? Rice is rice, some people like it, others don't. How many times do people need to express their opinions on it? Especially if it is someone on this forum, If you don't like it atleast say nice work, or good job, looks good. Don't say that looks like **** and you should get rid of the car(or something to that effect). Give them a compliment and just go on. But if you really wanna be an a**hole, then tell them it completely sucks....but maybe you could also tell them what you would do to improve it.
