Well my radiator was pushed up into my engine bay pretty far so the front was hit really hard like I said I hit the rail pretty much straight on but I was sliding side ways at the time.

 

by the looks of that, any Air Bag should have gone off , granted mine didnt go off but i had exactly 1/3 of that damage. Maybe try the Mitsu solution program and call Mitsu and ask, provide these pics and see what they have to say. This may be a defect in the sensors, and some may be more sensitive then others. If so you may be rewarded compensation without a lawsuit. But without a doubt id be all over the guys *** who cut me off especially if CHP can request video to prove you are not at fault and the other guy is. Good luck either way and im glad your ok

 

see ? i told you it was 1/3 damage maybe even 1/16th

 

Based on the pic I don't think the g sensor would trigger the air bag. It needs a heavier hit. Or atleast a more straight-on hit.

 

The pic that Rally Whiz showed is not my car mine is defently a more sever impact my pic's are to big to post I dont know how to make them smaller but they can be seen here.

if you still have acces to the car check if that big silver cylinder in the fron is damaged i have herd that is the air bag sensor.

 

Im not sure which one your talking about but if its in the front Im pretty sure its demolished anything in the front is crushed even my C.A.I. is crushed in the middle section by the radiator.
