Lancer to Evo X Build

Hey guys I am new to the forum and proud to be a mitsubishi owner .
I am proud to say this is actually my 3rd mitsubishi
Started out with a Mirage coupe, followed by an Evo VI, owned a few cars in between. and my new project... I recently purchased an 08 Lancer Gt at an auction last month.. thought I would share my build with you guys.. TRUST ME YOU DONT WANT TO MISS PHOTOS BELOW

If you don't mind I will share photos of the custom Mirage and Evo VI first.. then over to the good stuff.

Photo recovered from new owner sniff sniff miss her

The day I recovered her from the Auction.. very minor front bumper impact.

Now a guy traded me my car audio equipment for his ralliart kit that was sitting in his garage.. and I thought.. why not give it a shot.

I dont know why.. but I was not fully satisfied with the potential outcome. So I came across this wide bodykit which I obtained for an unbelievable price.

I looked it up online and noticed that it did not look complete just tacked on the car without molding it.. now it seems I took up a big project on hand. so here it begins..
Fitment.. not OEM but surprisingly close enough

Alrightt!!! now time for the molding!!!!

Mask Her up for Primer

Oh no.. what am I gonna do with this horrible gap in the gas tank??

Grrrr.. looking mean.

Coming along ok.. some more sanding..

Ok now time for the spray booth.. just checked on her this evening.. 7-March-11

Looks great! Not feeling the front lip or the plastic(?) mesh grill. But awesome conversion.

That looks really nice. the front lip breaks up the flow of the car a bit in IMO. I wonder how a widebody conversion on a Ralliart Sportback.
