Question next step on upgrade path?

Hey all, got an OZ thats basically stock with TYC blacks on the back. So for the holidays i'll be putting on a magnaflow full catback exhaust that a friends hookin it up for $200 but I need some help on what to do next. I want t go either eibach pro kit or Tein to drop her a lil bit. I obviously need some sort of intake but $150 for that RMR just for a filter and heat sheild seems a lil much so I was thinking of getting the adapter, K&N filter and some alumminum and making my own shield. I know I need some sway bars front and heavier rear than the stock one and maybe new perches just not sure what should be first. I guess that pretty much it, just need some advise on what should be priority right now.

Also, just throwin this out there to see what you all think, I had the idea to debadge everything off the trunk and install a carbon fiber mitsu logo where the OZ badge was with the TYC Blacks that are on there.

Thanks again all

we dont have a front sway bar, but you can get a strut tower brace instead... check around on the forums in the private/for sale forum and look for people selling intakes and all the rest.. sometimes you can find it pretty cheap

thanks, honestly though, not feelin RRM's pricing $150 for their SRI with no heat shield , maybe its a 14K gold filter, then I guess it makes sense.

roflmao thats hilarious

99% of us here believe GO before SHOW so most will say to get the performance parts than looks. I'd say for the Exhaust ur gettign to really 'shine' through u need an intake, i'd get the intake before anything else, than the front strut bar, than rear sway bar, than get WHEELS than you can Lower it. lol that's how i'd do it.

Ebay has some intakes for $30...but some people dont like Ebay, u can also get Front AND Rear Strut Bar and Rear Tie Bar for $50ish on Ebay..but some people say its Ebay and Ebay's no good..but thats there problem lol

thanks man, much appreciated. I know what you mean about ebay, its tough to gauge the quality of the producs you buy when you can physically see them but I haven't had a problem thus far. Used to buy stuff all the time for my integra. Thanks again

The topic hasn't gone anywhere.

Do they make CF diamond stars? I've never seen one (albeit I've never really looked).

If you're looking for price vs effectiveness just buy a MAS adaptor, a filter and a clamp. I doubt you'll notice a difference with or without a heat shield. You may want to do this before the exhaust too or you could fall into the category of a few forum members who complained of losing low and mid range torque from modding their exhaust before their intake. You need to inhale before you can exhale.

EDIT: BTW, the reason for the produce post is one I'm honestly quite tired of retyping. We do not organize by what gets seen the most. We organize by content. If we just wanted threads to be seen we'd have one big forum called the "HOLY ****! LOOK AT THIS AMAZING ****!" forum and it would be a nightmare to read and/or moderate.

I agree with hobie there, if you wanna use ebay, buy the MAS adapter plate.. probably around 20bucks.. then go find a nice big K&N cone filter... or if you are using ebay... try for an apexi cone and put that on there... just make sure to put some kind of mounting bracket somewhere near ther.. you dont want your intake bouncing around and damaging the MAS... then go for exhaust.. should feel a little bit out of that.. then if you have the cash get the intake manifold and matched TB from roadrace.. after that I would go with looks... but thats my personal opinion!
