I have also considered doing the dual exhaust. If I had the money I would, the only drawback is being NA dual would cause less back pressure and low end torque So, only if I go turbo would the dual actually run well.

Any ideas on getting some really well priced Enkeis/Konigs with a Yokohama tire package? Might get some after xmas with money

Not if you taper down the piping diameter at the Y-branch to the mufflers. As for new stuff...definitely going to get my cam gear hopefully by birthday (1/17). Power and an increase in driveability...I like it. May go with a Tokico/H&R suspension combo (should the H&R Mirage springs cross over similar to Progress' units), that or go with Tein Basic. Got my smorgasborg of dressup thingies on their way and need to call a place about some radiator hoses to match my HKS intake elbow.

Would it be logical to go with a 4-2 header and run separate pipes from the front? Or split in the back? I had originally planned on the first of the two.

If could fab a 4-2 header and figure out a way to plumb the piping down the exhaust tunnel, give it a shot. The easiest thing would be a long runner header like RPW's, running a 2.5" piping back and then branching into 1.25" or smaller piping. Look at stock SRT-4's, Z's, and pretty much any modern car with a split exhaust.

How much wider would you need to run from the split back if it were turbo?

How much do you suspect?

well a widebody would be sick, but unless i can get someone to do one for me, i dont have to extra money to do all that body work and then repaint the entire car. It's a project that could run into the $4000-$5000 range.

I have a friend that is doing his own body work and he said he would possibly mold my entire kit and possibly do fender flares, but we'll see if i wanna go that route or not.

i'm doing a custom wide body, I posted pics a few weeks ago, got different opinions from people, I'm still waiting on the fenders to come in. Over all the lancers body is gonna run me about $2500. I have the front and sides on, the rear is being a *****. If your interested in looking at it, the pics are in my profile.....and no it dosent sit low, it just looks like it does. I can still take speed bumps straight on, so lemme know, esp you Kontra. I really wanna get your opinion.

looked at your profile and i saw your car, but all i saw was a kit on the car...or was i mistaken, i didnt see any evidence of a widebody.

Send me some pics, i would be interested in seeing what you are coming up with!

Holy cow those are thick rods. Sounds like you've got plans, so what kind of management are you gonna run?
