will a mazda 6 engine fit?

i have a buddy at work that is moving to montreal soon so he has to get rid of a lot of his stuff. He told me has a Mazda 6 engine that he rebuilt thats pushing over 200 Horse. He said hell sell it to me for really cheap but im wondering if this will fit in my 2006 lancer OZ. I dont really know a lot about engine fitment or swaps so any help is much appreciated. thanks!

Neither are the MZR/MZI's if you're going for power (which it sounds like you are). I'd say stick with the engine you have now- no matter how low the price on the engine your friend has. The amount of fabrication you'd probably need will probably out cost the price of his engine 2-3 times if not more.

no point. the amount of work involve is going to cost 7-8k alone so in essence your not getting a good deal for a measly 80hp

I dont understand why people want to do these crazy motor swaps. $1300 to turbo it and be done with it. Why fabricate EVERYTHING and make it front heavy with a V6?
