60k service

So, does the timing belt need to be done at 60k on an 04 Lancerb Sportback LS? I have the shop manuals for this car and it's a bit confusing when it says 105k "do timing belt if not done at 60k" WTF?!

Yes, you should replace your timing belt at 60k.

The manual is stating if you are at 105k without a timing belt replaced at 60k, then you should replace it then.

So why put it in there then? Seems like they're telling me I can get 100k out of the tb! Just seems a little redundant...lol
