so i was walking around the lot, i am in the market for a oz lancer, or es, looked at both and i like the oz interior a lot more but anywho, as i am checking out all their rides to my complete suprise i find a really nice red oz, 2003, and then the entire interior had red carbon fiber, dash, door handles, console, i mean everything...

i was blown away to see a lancer offered that from the factory

it looked really good, wish i had a camera with me....

 

Are you sure it was a 2003? I didn't think the 2003 models offered any different color variations for the interior. I could see the 2004 models having it since they got better seats, but I think even those have the same interior.

 

some dealers have added a dash kit to help sell the car. though it is not a factory option I have seen a few dealers do it.

 

yeah some of the local dealers around here are even adding bodykits, graphics, rims, altezza's, and custom interiors. they said they're trying to push the "tuner" trend.

 

Yes, many dealers make up special packages to help sell the car or raise it's value. I remember one dealer selling the "ralliart OZ" in 2002, which included ralliart struts, eibach springs, and 17" rims. It was nice.

 

That's what I was figuring. The dealer I bought my OZ from had a red one with the Kaminari kit and some lowering springs on it for like $3000 over the regular price.
