So im looking to put a turbo on my 03 ES..(dont look at me like that, i love my ES) and im new to the whole tuning game. The turbo i have has NONE of th piping what so ever. so my question is.. WHat all do i need to put a turbo on my Lancer? any help would be great!!! thanks in advance. also the turbo i found is a T3/T4 T04E .50AR compressor T3 flange turbo charger EG. Is it any good?

 

double post fail...dude, there are so many build threads here, and the simple fact that the questions you are asking about a turbo setup are not even vehicle specific, i'm not even going to tell you to use the search function on the board, i'm going to tell you to go back to google, figure out what you need, and how it works first, then when you run into a problem that is specific to a lancer then some people might have answers for you...

yes that turbo will work fine if you can make it fit. what you should have done first was research and decide what kind of driveability you would like to achieve and then purchase a turbo based on that, then worry about the manifold and charge pipe etc.

 

uh yeah i did go vehicle specific, i stated that i drive a 03 LANCER ES... and thats what i m putting a turbo on.

 

that's not what i meant, i don't care what you drive...you could drive a VW beetle, if you're asking what you need to bolt a turbo to the motor and make it work, you need to do some research.

i meant if you had questions about MAF relocation, recirculation, coolant over flow relocation due to space constraints, etc. Vehicle specific problems you encounter during the build...

not knowing how to install a turbo in your 03 Lancer ES auto does not count as a vehicle specific problem, that's an owner specifix problem and you need to do more research, we're here to help each other, not teach basic concepts to people that are too lazy to do a bit of research...

 

Welcome to the forums. Lancer General is not a great place to start or learn. We actually have an entire forum just on adding forced induction to 02-06 Lancers. I suggest you start there and read up.
