For insurance call your agent. With State Farm they just look at it as a $36K car. My quote was only $100 more per 6 months than my 2001 Volvo V70 T5.

But call first.

It is classified as Lancer Evolution VII RS-II. They just don't have data for it so they default to the value of the car.

Some companies may classify it as a kit car, State farm did not.

Sometimes i wish i had that kind of money =\

I bet the US Version (lower HP probably) will come out to be 30k and without all the traction control options.

People are better off importing the car instead of waiting. u get the real deal not some U.S Watered down version =\

Does EI do financing? .... lol

Thanks,
GSR: trim with all the goodies, Climate control A/C
RS: Competition model, with no PL, PW, sunroof...bare bone version so you can put your own parts for racing use
RS II: RS with PW, PL, regualar A/C and other goodies, still lighter than GSR

Speak with Adam @ E.I., best guy to talk to.

Also, how much is the shipping? (estimates??)

Shipping is included in the price (boat shipping from overseas).

Shipping that's NOT included in the price is delivery to YOUR location from California, after the car becomes legal. Again, speak with Adam to get more info on that price.

Yup.. spoke to him...
seems to be a very cool guy.
They have facility in CA... so most likely I will be able to pick up (and
better yet, get service from) them directly... will go down there to take
a look at the cars if i got the chance.....

no HID and no sunroof (RS2 version doesn't come with those). Not even sure the GSR domestic version comes with HID.

Speedo will be in MPH yes.
