Well guys

I had been waiting for the EVO to come to states but unfortunately rolled my Montero past weekend and found a MY02 WRX wagon for just the right price. And that will be my future rally car once paid off.

Maybe I'll one day have enough money to have both, but for now I'm shifting camps.

 

Hey man, that car/wagon is no Evo, but it's still one of the BEST cars/wagons out there, you can beat an Acura RSX with that. My oppinion, it's a formiddable car! It's how Wagons should be made.

 

That sucks to hear. Hopefully if the Evo reaches the states it can find a nice spot next to the WRX wagon

You havent been to one of our rallycrosses lately...wassup. Our next event is on Dec 15th and 16th, see if you can make it, we'll have a bunch of rally cars there too.

I couldn't make the last event... at least that was the last event I heard about. I'm actually setting my car up to race it with NASA next year. I'm going for my provisional license this Nov

Props for getting a WRX cause everyone knows you would beat my lancer's *** ,but WHY YOU GET A WAGON!!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? or do you have kids? IF you have kids I feel for u.

OzRally, you shouldn't be hating on him because he has a wagon, he was smart enough to go to Subaru and get a REALLY NICE car. Atleast he didn't go buy an Lancer...

i've got a wrx wagon, and i love it. the ability to go stink-fast while carrying loads of crap, it's great!

 

Actually I looked at the WRX and they really do kick ***, but since I'm only 19 and I live in Massachusetts It didnt make that much sense. The insurance quote that Commerce gave me was $3250.00 a year to insure a WRX....... do you see a problem with this, cause I do. I'm just ragging on him cause he got a wagon, (personal preference). So just leave me and my 120 front wheel drive horses alone =) LOL I hope you enjoy the car, and like someone else said smoke the civics and integras, I'm so sick of every half *** punk putting mufflers and wheels on civics and thinking they can ******* run the LeMans. I figured out once my little Lancer is done she will have roughly 178 hp and it will cost me around $4000.00 It's still not a WRX but hey it only cost me $1800.00 to insure it. coz, I had a Montero (not Montero Sport) and am used to having room to put boxes and stuff in the back. Also, I've been a Mitsubishi guy for the longest time. My daily driver was a Montero, my rally car is an ecilipse. Its just that if mitsubishi made something that moves and even if they had a toned down version of the Evolution, I would have bought it.

The way that I look at it, Mitsubishi just lost the race. Wonder how many other people like me are switching camps coz Mitusbishi wants to see how the market performs. Yeah, you'll see it perform and by the time that you come into the market, there will be NO market. Then take your Evolutions and evolve them.

Sorry guys, I'm really pissed. I never thought that I'll be getting a Subaru and its upsetting. I HAD to get a car.
