"Turbo if done correctly wont wear down the engine" well, id rather stick with reliable HORSEPOWERS than going to HORSEPOWERS WARS with RRM and spend lots of money changing internals and along with all the crap that goes with it, and "IF NOT DONE RIGHT, BLOW OFF MY MOTOR like my friends with RRM Kits do...its my daily driver not a daily racer. Thanks though....please keep this thread clean, we all know what RRM has been doin, no need to plug it, especially here.
agreed. its still winter anyway....... PLENTY of time to plan and save.

Like to know where some people say the turbo kit caused extra wear... no one has ever had this happen and there are kits out there running 7psi all day on non-ic'd setups... Blackmantis has had his for over a year and no probs... Boni has had his for like 2 years and his only problems were putting the right gas in his car!! His mistake... when it comes down to it any turbo'd car failure has been on the owners thus far... not one has been due to kit problems.

Some of the other kits out there... well there has been lots of issues with them and not many are even running.

I know Ripp can back this up: 99% of kit errors are due to install/owner faults not the kits. Where problems with a kit do happen they get corrected and phased out but such is the real world... nothing is perfect from day one!

Now to go turbo or SC is bit of a decision but with only two viable kits available you'll have to base decisions off of time, dyno's, 1/4's and customer feedbacks! Let some of the kits get out and you'll see more clearly. For now save your pennies as the first customers are true pioneers.

Soon i'll be at the track and a new faster time will be displayed. Stage 2 is done and now there is just formallities... dyno, 1/4, instructions...etc.

Good luck to all

RIPP MODIFICATIONS

We have an unbelievable track record in terms of reliability. We’ve mastered the art in creating RELIABLE forced induction kits. We currently have over 240 kits riding around the US. We have had 5 engine failures as to date and 0 after the inception of our black box. The reason this kit is taking so long to be fully available to the public is because we don’t take short cuts. Also, as you can see by our gains we do not sacrifice power for reliability.

I was checkin out ur website and it said something like 183 to the wheels....I would really be interested in knowing what the current gains are...and the whole deal with the power-steering relocation...also i have a mirage which i took the 4G93 out and put the 4G94 In place of it...you guys could also sell this kit to the mirage guys if you redesigned the powersteering bracket and i'm sure some of the electronics...anyway what are the gains and can this kit be intercooled?I know the RPW kits when they made them for the 4G93 could not be...but I think those were replacing the entire intake manifold (no i'm not refering to the quads)

LANCER SDS

Our website is currently in the process of a reconstruction. I have posted the most current update. We have the car tuned with larger injectors and will be dynoing it promptly. We are expecting the Lancer to output 230+whp.

installation said to be around $800-100 depending where you go. Is the installation hard? No but time consuming, 8-10 Hrs.
