Pricing

The price is 3899.99. This comes with the Stage 1 kit (refer to rippmods.com for details), the Boost Cooler and the upgraded Crank Pulley. The price increase is due to the fact that we have made the Boost Cooler and the Crank Pulley standard with this kit. This setup is designed to run 11psi daily and produce between 230 and 240 whp. We will be offering a very freezable Group Buy Sale this month when we officially dyno the Lancer to get the exact WHP Gains with bigger injectors.

230-240 refers to total whp, you wouldnt need headers or new ones for a supercharger, SC's use pulleys to run, not exhaust power.

Hey ripp i know this questions was asked in the other ripp thread but u never really answered it. I was wondering if this kit will be the same for the autos and if so how do u think the auto tranny will hold up to that kind of power. Or if not what would the differences be in the kit.

yeah your right bro. ross said your going to need a new header due to the increased air flow and pressure. a catback would definately help out too.

the current group buy is $4200 installed. after that group buy is over, rippmods said they will be holding a second group buy, just for the kit itself. so yeah it should be under $4000.

no, the SDS kit is $3800+ something...even if its $4700 (installed) its still cheaper that RRM turbo, get a calculator and sum it up and compare how much money your gonna spend (dont qoute me on prices though their pretty close to what it is) for RRM turbo $4000 (intercooled) + Pistons $700 + ECU (piggy back) $400 + Labor (my shop charges me $350 for a 8-9 hr install) so dont say SDS kit is asking too much for 240WHP...with the RRM kit, your gonna spend more than what I listed to reach that goal without blowing up your motor! THINK GUYS!

what a minute, why would i need new pistons with the turbo from rrm? if i were to boost my turbo upto 9 psi, i would understand where i need to upgrade my pistons, but otherwise i wouldnt.

ok on second thought getting an evo's power for less than 5k is well worth the price then.
