Performance Lancer

Is it possible to boot the performance to around 200-225 whpw without losing the mpg of the car? Is it possible to do a full EVO VII conversion(front/rear bumpers, wing, and so), if so I would be interested in any suggestions of how to do it.

yes and yes

search for roadracemotorsports and their intercooled turbo kit (also known as RRM). I have the kit and still get 28 mpg on an automatic and I am pushing about 190 at the wheels and I am running a VERY conservative boost with stock everything else.

As for the evo VII kit look at import trenz or accolade they both have evo 7 body kits.

lol, dont plan on getting that gasemileage if you go turbo and then aslo run a exhaust with test pipe, the test pipe just eats your MPG alive!

true true, i drive mainly highway, i have stock everything except the intercooled turbo kit, no exhaust no testpipe so that helps. I dont gun it all the time, hell i let my wife use my car for 2 weeks and she got 30 mpg on it since she never hit boost, always under 2500 rpm's (i still dont know how she does that).

Anways. Gas mileage is not killed by the RRM turbo kit i know that for a fact.

well for other things u can do, u can always keep it NA and just do like exhaust and Cold air intake and maybe a new chip, u wont be able to get up to 200, but u could probably get some extra hp, but ull also loose some of ur mpg

guru_del is right, he is running around 190 whp, i SHOULD be over 200 in about 2 days, and gas mileage is fine, but test pipe does kill it, i am replacing with a performance cat since i am spewin g alot more nasty stuff than most, but as long as you drive conservatively you can get great mileage, the reason why people say turbo will kill your gas is because you cant help from getting on it

Just to let u know... I tested the range in gas mileage in the Lancer on my OZ. I only have an RMR intake and a hyper ground kit. When im goin all out pedal to the metal 100% of the time driving the car 50% on streets and 50% on freeway I get about 23 MPG... when I baby car, never exceeding 3k RPM I get about 29-30 MPG.

ya i noticed that when its cold u get horrible gas mileage for some reason... i think its because i use the heat, i try not too but my gf gets pissed and then i have too lol. and or it randomly gets foggy ** not guys not what your thinking, the car is too small ** then i ahve to use it, or the windsheild gets icy and have to use the heat, so its just all those things that kill it, along with my having a test pipe.

as anyone that has driven with or near me can tell you i dont baby it that is for damn sure, i just dont floor it all the time, i cruise at 80 when i am on an open freeway and i follow the speed limit on streets. I do accelerate kinda quick but not full throttle from a line (unless i can trap some ricer next to me).
