how cold is it outside?

so I Thought yesterday was bad, when the thermometer hit -34'c and with wind it was about -50'c for the whole day.. now today it's -35'c with less wind, but I swear driving to work took 3 times as long and the car DID NOT warm up. damned 2 litre OZ engines

nope, at least it was plugged in all night. I had it running for about 20 minutes before I went out, and the temp gauge was still only reading about 30% heated up, then when I was driving (due to wind chill) the cars temperature dropped to about 20% and stayed there. haha and get this, its gonna be windier tomorrow.. its its -50'c outside with wind, and if you throw water out the window it will turn to ice before it hits the ground!!!!

oh and this is in edmonton, alberta

yeah chicago is pretty damn cold right now too. and its only going to get worse! according to the weather stations anyway. i honestly dont mind the cold to much, but it wont stop snowing! i just hate driving through all that slush and slipping and sliding everywhere. it was like -10 below the other day with the wind chill.

yeah it's called a frost plug, they usually plug into the bottom of the oil pan and a filament not unlike a toaster to burn bread with heats up and keeps the oil warm at night. when you start the car
in the morning it starts better so the oils not like hard glue..

to put this in comparison, I believe the temperature out in Faranheight is: -61.6 and could possible dip to -68'F later

Yes and the worst part is by Friday we will reach a high of 78 degrees here in South Florida. That's funny, my EVO has no problems warming up down here.
