How much do you think its gonna cost to fix?? How do they fix the bent frame? engine compartment is fine and so is steering allignment.

dud ei knwo you dont want to hear this but it would proabnly be cheaper to buy a new car. not a new car but a different one. you're looking at at least $4k. enough for an old fc turbo 2.

 

I know this might sound funny, but in my opinion the car held up pretty well, considering.

 

do you still have the stock bumpoer and hood to put back on?

yeah and ur the only lancer with that body kit to....that im aware of.

that sucks man...u could always get another lancer and transfer all the parts that made it.

 

Really sorry dude, i know how it feels to spin out on ice, same thing sort of happened to me last winter, but i hit a curb and didnt do as much damage.

I know exactly how you feel. If it’s any consolation, take a look what some drunk did to my ’99 turbo Eclipse; http://www.fahhking.net/accident/FrameSet.htm . I was out of my mind insane with anger and regret for a few days until my wife’s sister told me to just go get an Evo. Best advice I ever got.

I hope the frame isn’t bent. If they end up having to straighten it, I’d try to get another car cuz it’s never ever the same again after they do that. I’ve experienced it twice, trust me. You don’t want a car with a re-straightened frame.

Your insurance should cover it all other than the deductible... You have insurance right?!?!? So in the end.. it could be worse. Think positive.

Yea honestly my accident this past summer was worse than that. I got side swiped by a school bus making a wide turn (his fault), and my insurance covered everything. The body shop had to cut off the back driver's side quarter of my car and replace the whole thing. All I had to do was pay a $250 dedeuctable . Hope you are all right bro, good luck, and don't worry it should be covered.

 

that really sux sry about your car, you should be st8 with insurance tho, someone messed my lancer up a few months ago (broken windows, dents in the fenders, headlights broken, a hole in the trunk) it was pretty bad, i still dont kno who did it, but insurance covered everything with my 250 deductable, it was 4500 worth of repairs
