Question Correct size tire for a 18 inch rim?

Hello!

So i just bought these rims from a friend, $400, for a 2012 lancer ES

and the tires are NITTO NeoGen or something like that, 205/40/18... rims are Kyowa 228 18x7.5.... OEM tires are 205 60 16

According to http://www.csgnetwork.com/speedocalibcalc.html when i am going 60 MPH i am actually going 57 MPH. Now, there is a lot of life left on those tires so im not planning on replacing any time soon. But when i do, what size should i get?

I will upload pics of the rims in my car on the morning, its dark and raining now lol

Thanks!

I would say nothing smaller then what's on there. Not having much sidewall is going to be a hastle.

With the wheel being a 7.5 you can run a 215-225 comfortably and not have too much tire.

I did some research and I found that GTSs come with 215/45/18 so that's the size I will buy once these tires die.
