Do whatever makes you happy! An Evo will put a huge smile on your face for sure

Evo for sure. Never understood why people buy a lancer and mod it all up.

Dump it and get an evo or you'll just be dumping your money.

yeah thats the conclusion i have come to. i got it because i didnt have deep enough pockets at the time to get the evo i wanted. + im driving 20,000+ miles a year so went with the lancer to save a little on gas.

Put 10,000 in upgrades into your lancer, and then look back with regret knowing that you could have just bought an Evo

Its not that simple of an argument. A lot of people that modify evos put so much money into them that they could have bought a GTR that they previously thought they couldn't afford had they just saved all that money and waited (of course this is assuming that they would want a GTR in the first place but its just an example for argument's sake). But does that mean they should have bought a GTR? No. Theres a difference between cash now and cash youre able to earn over time. You may be able to afford the car payment on an evo (or a GTR) but doesn't mean you can afford to maintain it much less modify it. And everyone who owns an evo knows that it all adds up fast.

Keep the Lancer as a DD and buy an Evo when you can for a race car.
