GOT MY PIGGY BACK TODAY!!! Hooked it up in about an hour. Taking my time. I read the other post on this topic -all two hundred and something. I have to say- I have not been disappointed in any of the products I got from road/race. When I first started the car, quick idle up to 3500 and then dropped off. No idleing problems -like others have posted. I soldered all the wires. Let idle for about 7 minutes- could wait to drive. Throttle response sucked at first, but I kept it slow not getting on it. Throttle response improved slightly throuhgout the drive. So I hit 50 miles, started to get onto I40 and I banged through the gears. First and second seem about the same, maybe a little less power in these gears. Third- PULLS-----HARD! I was impressed!! Fourth is a little better. Never got into fifth at all, had to slow down, fourth pulled past 100 easily. SO much better than before. There is a slight delay between 2nd and 3rd. Keep in mind that, I only have put 82 miles on so far. I am sure the ECU has some learning to do. One question I have, was the Piggy back supposed to eliminate CEL. SO far it has not come on. Usually it comes on right at 74 miles after resetting the ECU. One thing I did notice is that the pin out diagram on the directions are little confusing, if you didnt know what you are doing it is easy to get the pins confused, as some wires are the exact same color top and bottom. The pin out diagram is of the ECU (looking at it) not the plugs. Well worth the money-- ROAD/RACE does it again!

These posts have been great. I am getting my piggyback tomorrow and plan on doing the install tomorrow evening. I will post my review within a week since I don't do much driving during the week.

so yes boys and girls I finally figured out why my car was stalling and wouldnt start without gas!

seems somehow I got my piggyback programmed incorrectly for a different vehicle or something. RRM has since reflashed it with version 2 and have mailed it back as far as im aware. I'm waiting for it in the mail.

Do you know if a different A/F map for a different car might have damaged my engine? I asked RRM in an email but didn't get a response yet.. I think the car runs fine now, without the piggy, im just anxious to install version 2 with the new flash. weeee!

PAYCE!

Here's my review of the piggyback so far. Just put it in today. My current mods are I/H/E and I'm an auto. Drove it soft for the first 25 miles and then did a hard drive to see if I can notice a difference. Didn't really notice too much change it seemed to shift faster. Continued to drive calm throughout the day. I've got about 50 miles on it and just got in from driving it a lil hard. It seems to be accelerating alot more. I haven't officially raced my brothers 95 civic ex(manual) but when I drove behind him I definitely was up his a$$ without pushing it too hard. I'll post more results about gas mileage and any improvements in throttle response.

Forgot to give it a review hehe. Piggyback went well. easy installation. gives better gas mileage as said. and cuts some of that lag out. so it feels better. big props. should make an auto flywheel or whatever its called. that or torque converter. hehe but anyway good product! great i mean. best mod yet.

Well it's been a few days with the piggyback and I have acouple of q's. Will running 93 octane mess up my performance. Also with my "CEL" on and all cuz of the header am I actually losing out on mpg because the ecu being in limp mode. I'm gonna install the bjr mil eliminator when iget some time this weekend.

93 won't hurt anything. As for CEL it is because of header. It will not hurt anything.

How much HP does the piggyback add? Also, I have a short ram, rrm headers, high flow cat, and rrm pulley. Do you think ill feel a difference with the piggyback?
