alittle help

ok so i had an a/f gauge forever cause it looks cute you know not because its usefull anyways i have had it kind of jury riged from the o2 sensor and i want to hook it up the right way i ran a search found this pic but my problem where the hell is this in the car anyone point me in the right direction

I think you splice it in with the white O2 sensor wire on the far right harness... but dont quote me on that

i orginal spliced it to the wire coming off the 02 sensor itself it worked but if whatever that pic is. is in the car i would love that

i THINK that pic was taken from upside down on the passenger side....probably removing the glovebox...

i remember that pic and i believe thats how he got to it.

you have to lie on your back on the passenger side floor and the ecu is behind the glovebox behind a plastic panel. these wires point straight at the floor.

Remove the glovebox and u will see the ECU (rectangular black unit), somewhere on that unit u will see all these harnesses exactly as u see in the picture.

Put your passenger seat all the way back and reclined all the way down. Pull the glove box off. Lay down with your head on the floor underneath the glovebox and you'll see all those wires.

Isnt that an Evo ECU? I recently looked at mine and remember seeing three rows of wires (Lancer ES)... maybe I'm wrong.

02-03 autos and manuals have different ecus. it's weird, but true. manual lancers seem to have the same wiring harness as the EVO.

correct. i installed a air/fuel gauge on my buddy's car (auto) and it was different.

The auto ecu is the same as the Montero's ecu. Why dont they just bring over the INVECS Trannys?
