I need to Vent some steam. When I bought my 02 lancer OZ it was because the EVO isn't available. My dealer offered me no options, such as scuff gaurds, exhaust tip, bells and whistles. I then asked about RMR. RMR????? I gave them the web site and phone #, to get info. They told me that anything from RMR would void warrenty. And I give up on the idea, for now. Then a month later I walk into the mall, and low and behold there on display is a yellow OZ with everything RMR offers. I call the dealer to gripe. I'm told that none of the items will void warrenty, and are offered now as options. BULLSH!! I don't even get a Thank You for introducing the dealer to RMR. I'm planning a midnight raid to acquire anything that can be removed. I WILL GET MY REVENGE!!!

Aftermarket parts will not void your warranty unless they can be proven as the cause of failure.

yeah my dealer here has no idea what RMR is either. what watse of space those guys are. all they are good for is a test drive, i'd buy my cars else where if i ever get another car.

 

me too - - its funny . . the dealer that i bought my car from actually told me about RMR and recommended it . . . then i got to a mitsubishi dealer 40 miles away (closer to my house then where i bought my car) and when i ask the parts guy about RMR he stares at me like a deer in headlights . . . .

 

yo OZRecnal...where did u get it from...i got da same ****...i got mine from country mitsubishi in huntington..dey are dumb as hell...go to manhasset mitsubishi...if u are from Long island... .dey are betta..dey kno wut dey are doin...

 

I live in the hudson valley, sort of upsate. I've deceided to enter the mall just before closing. Then when the rent-a-cops are out of sight I'm going to POP! adriverside window and gain entry to hood latch. The intake and strut bar will be mine before anyone notices. Maybe if all goes well I'll put it up on blocks and take the superleggras. THE GOOD SHALL PREVAIL!!!

eh for real tho me too.....my dealership is the biggest pack of morons ive ever met....they dont kno their f'n thumb from their dick...i wont even get started.....but i do got a question.....if i want to get those damn shocks from RMR.....how the hell do i get them if my god damn dealer doesnt kno who the hell they are?? thanks for the help

 

its my understanding that on the rmr website they offer a 1-800 number to call if your dealer doesnt know about them and then you can buy **** straight from them on theat 800 number. thats what i heard. but check it out for yourself.
