Accident
Accident
So heres me, looking poor lancer accident threads last night... Leave my friends house and get rear ended. Damage is not visually bad but what happened to my car seems pretty bad...
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally (111,200 Miles)
The driver rear suspension is making a clicking noise now
The Horn wont sound/Cruise control wont turn on
Mild scratches and dents in rear bumper
Car pulls to the right now
I was sitting at a red light, one car behind me. Third car comes up at about 25-30 rear ending the honda civic behind me, pushing it into me.
>_< Why is everyone out to destroy poor little lancers? lol
Anyone have any ballpark number of cost the insurance company is going to have to pay off the (little) information I gave? Not going to be able to figure out a whole lot until ripping it apart and I dont want to do that before they come look at it.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident! I hope you are okay!
You should take it to your mechanic and have him take a look. Insurance companies aren't really wanting to help you, they may try to screw you. And legally you have the right to have your own mechanic appraise any damage occurring from an accident, so if I were you I would take advantage of it!!

Planning on doing that on monday when I have the day off - I got out with nothing wrong, my friend on the other hand went to the ER with neck and head injuries. He was leaning forward in the front seat when we got hit. He is doing better now just his neck hurts and back hurts.
Afraid to see what the damage is going to be... A few random things messed up but seems bad =(

I hope he has a speedy recovery. And I'm glad to hear you're okay! I'm sure it will all work out for the best.
