From experience, .92 to .94 on the O2 is pretty much the max before bogging. When you hit +.96, you're going super rich. +.98 at idle, you're stalling, and .96 is usual for severe erratic idle problems.
Under harsh shifting at WOT, a puff of smoke is somewhat usual for dumping unburnt fuel. You guy haven't put enough miles to consider valve seal problems.

I wish we could get rock to do a group buy on the ECU's but I know that is long shot! I do know that there would be a lot of people interested especially that tax refunds will be coming soon.

we now have to pay $439.. but i figure its worth it because first of all, its cheaper than the reflashed ecu they used to offer and plus, you dont need to do an ecu core change so you wont be carless for a few days. so in perspective, the extra $40 is totally worth it.

has anyone elses car been stalling on startup with the ecu?
i did it once then it stalled, did it twice then it tsalled then i did it again and reved it before it could stall then it choked and finally went on, but i got a cel so i turned it off and tapped the gas pedal a few times and the cel went off and it started up. whats the deal with that?

hmmm, call up RRM... i didnt have that problem when i had it on my car. I stalled maybe once, but that was the first day it was installed. I had it a few days after that and it was running fine... no problems whatsoever.
