accident..need help

......on frebruary 17,2004 at around 6:35.09 the Lancer family has suffered a great loss, i ran over a curb on a turn ...went on some black ice and BLOP a loud as BAM almost as same as when 2 cars crash....so now my passenger side tire and rim are messed up...the disk break seems ok..but im sure its messed up too... the tire instead of bein offset to almost center is pulled like .10 mm off the tire well....so yes it causes ALOT OF RUBBING....and a whole lot of noise i think its the tire bars made it move an inch back...does anybody know how much it will cost? lets say needs balancing and all the other crap that goes with tires....any info? need it soon..post and post and post some more..i have fotos but im not able to post them up my upload port seems messed up, it will only send "sound"

that happened to me, the 2 lower arms were bent back making the wheels scape against the back of the wheel well.

i needed 1 rim, 1 tire and 2 lower arms, cost me about 600 with install.

no frame damage, everything was fine, but when i crashed it i was like jesus i hope its totalled because i dont wanna pay a few grand to get it fixed, but it turned out to be really low and that was a relief.

the tire was popped and the rim was bend and chipped so it had to be replaced, it was an aftermarket rim and tire also.

the lower arms hold the tire in place in the center of the well and when i hit the curb it bend the lower arms causing the tires to get pushed back to the back of teh wheel well, they are fairly small and can be ordered by mitsubishi, but your repair guy will do all that stuff.

I did that last winter... $250 on the tie rod ends... Don't forget the alignment... I'd get wheels/tires balanced for good measure too... If you need another rim - ask around here first - it's cheaper than through Mitsu...

you would have to look under the car to see what im talking about, just have it towed to someone whos charging a reasonable price for it and see how it goes.

I took mine to a local shop in town -- I knew Mitsu was going to rip me off, and I really didn't want to turn it in on the Ins.

dont tell your insurance company, i didnt and im sure theres a deductable or some crap anyways and they will put it on the cars and your record so your best bet is to not go through insurance.

dont go through mitsu, they assrape you for any kind of repair

bring it to a private place, i brought mine to a place called south coast alignment
