Fender Flare Help!!

Hey guys, im looking for fender flares for my 03 mitsubishi lancer. I love the look of the bolted fender flares you see on some scoobies and plenty of datsun z's. I like the aggressiveness those flares give to a car. I'm having trouble finding ones that form to the 03 lancer body. Any recommendations??

Www.body-kit.com sells some "extreme" fenders that have a bit more of an aggressive look, but I don't think they're actually flared:

I would go ask the guys in the "show and shine" forum. I know of at least one guy that flared his own fenders in order to avoid rubbing on some seriously off spec and cantered wheels.

Go search ebay, I found some "universal wide flares:"

There's also some fender flare body kits on there for the Evo. I don't know if they could be made to work for our cars though.

Although tbh I think whatever you do is going to look kinda silly unless you also use wider rims and spacers, whatever becomes necessary to make the wheels semi-flush.

Gotta agree with =AA=.

I am using universal flares on my 03 lancer and if you don't fill in the gap, it will look somewhat silly. But, if this is what your going for, then by all means, have at it.
I ordered some Ichiba 38mm wheel spacers to push my wheels out to fill in the flare but alas, Ichiba ****ed up and sent me spacers with a 4 x 100 pattern. So, I have to wait a little bit longer for my wheels to fill out the flare.

^THIS GUY knows what he's talking about. Go check out his build thread in show and shine...

It doesnt look like a project for the faint of heart, and there's some serious potential for doing it wrong and ending up with a ricer. But I think Avirex's car is going to look EPIC once he gets it all painted with new wheels, spacers and the rear disc/5lug conversions.

The reason that Z has those flares are because they are necessary to run wide tires and the car has the performance based need for them. Putting them on a Lancer just for looks is stupid. It's your car and you are free to do what you want with it but those exist because it's about functionality first and looks second. If you want looks before performance then you would be better off buying a Jetta or a Golf and getting with that dumbass hella flush crap over there, plenty of info already out there for those things. Thats just my opinion though.

I've seen a few nice lancers before... But that i'm afraid doesnt look good at all... And the stance look of it makes it look even worse...

Not my car so whatever... I hope you do a better job with yours

I think the link added with the red lancer and flares looks good, just not a fan of how the flares fade inward as they go down the lancer. If that is the look you are going for the it seems completely doable.
