Greddy burning and banging!!!!help

hey guys my 550 dollar cat back system is burning the inside of my bumper and banging against the bumper when i go over a speed bump turn really fast....What can i do to fix it...it kinda looks like its angled wrong and for some reason the actual piping (under the car) seems to flex up and down real easy... HELP!!! because i spent a ****load on this exhaust because i thought it was the best but now i am getting burning out of it.

does the muffler have hangers on it?

if not you can go to anexhaust shop and have them weld on some hangers and hang it so it wont move and sit a little below your bumper so it wont melt it - thats what they did when they set up my custom catback.

i just bought the greddy evo2 cat back for my lancer es...the extra lip on your bumper that they put on the oz's causes the burning...there should be a hanger on the muffler just try to lower it or you could invest in a heat shield...i think they may have them out or you could make one

that seems to be very common with greddy exhaust. best advice is take it to a muffler shop and see if they can help.

if u dont feel like taking it to a shop, which was suggested a few times, you can just go to a home depot or ACE and find a little sheet of metal and some how stick it arond the bumper or something right there the muffler sits and that could work, but i would just take it to a shop, would look nicer overall probably.

Would it be easier to get some thermal wrap and use it on the unexposed part of the exhaust?

I have the same problem, when i got the kamikazie header and dp it acctually pulled the whole exhaust deeper under the car. I got under the car drilled some small holes next to the muffler and put some zip ties in have no problems anymore it sites right in the middle.

have them bend the pipe.. they will take it off for a minute heat the pipe and bend it accordingly... I had to do the same thing with mine when I installed it.. I just took the flaming wrench to it and bent it myself seems to work fine w/o burning but its also not been higher than 30º
