i have an oz with greddy evo exhaust and it don't burn or bump...im not sure mine just fit right up perfectly bolted up.

 

It's very common for exhaust systems to have fitment issues. Even the most expensive ones can have problems. Sometimes it's possible to just mess around with adjustment by losening and moving pieces around, but most of the time it takes tools and skills that the muffler shops have and the average guy does not. I always take my stuff to a shop and they generally fix whatever is wrong quickly and inexpensively. You might have to shop around though....

 

I have the Greddy Evo Catback as well. Took it to Meinekee and they installed it for me. Sounds incredible and fits Perfect!

 

possible heat shield...fitment issue???

Not sure but I think this would work. But there are many more knowledgable guys out there that would know for sure. Good luck.

 

I used header tape(heat-resistant tape) that I got from pep-boys. That way I don't need to worry about burning the rear lip. As for the bumping, my old Honda CRX did that after I put a new body kit on it. I had to have new hangers installed that kept it in place better.

 

yah mine didnt burn the bumper for a long time...mabie it just got loose and started to bang. and it only burns the inside because it bangs against the side wall.
