Painting Rims
Painting Rims
Hey guys,
So I've found these Enkei rims. They were in very bad condition and I've started a project to bring them back to a better condition. I've used Bondo and multiple sanding to fix the road rashes.
Now I'm on to the point where I paint them. I've so far sanded down the rims with 80 grit sanding paper. Now going over it with primer.
I've gone over the front of the rims. I am stumped on what to do with the reverse side of the rims.
Should I wait until the front side has dried, then simply reverse the rims? Or should I just ignore the reverse side of the rims.
Original rim colour is silver. I am planning on painting it gunmetal gray.
PS. Im also planning to have the rims with a glossy look. What product gives it the look? I am thinking a clear enamel?
