my question is basically: what's the difference in appearance between the '04-'05 ES and the '04-'05 RALLY EDITION? i know it's got OZ rims, obviously, but other than that, the rear spoiler (which, apparently is identical to the RALLIART spoiler), and the black-housing headlights, how can you tell the difference?

I'm curious because the difference between the '02-'03 ES and RALLY EDITION lancers was the "ground effects" kit. but the 2004-2005 RALLY EDITION doesn't seem to have the telltale front lip, sideskirts, and rear lip like the older ones did. is there a difference in the body at all? thanks in advance.

 

The lack of front and rear lips, 4 lug wheels instead of 5, rear drums instead of rear discs. I think those are the cosmetic diferences.

 

i'm pretty sure those are the differences between the RALLIART and the OZ RALLY. but i was wondering the differences between the ES and the OZ RALLY, because they both have rear drums, 4-lug wheels, and no front or rear lips...

 

Oohh, the oz has hark headlights and the chrome tails where the es has red tails and chrome headlights. And the es lacks the side skirts. No spoiler on the es either. The interior is darker in the oz than the es as well. All the exterior things can be easily swapped out though. The oz rally badge on the trunk should be there unless debadged. And the es never came in yellow so if you see a yellow one it'll be an oz or a ralliart

 

Ralliart has fogs i dont think any other model has fog lights other then the evo. Interior, the OZ Rally has a red and black seat that is nice but not as nice as the ralliarts, and any other model es or ls i think just has a basic grey cloth.
