I don't drive a Lancer in fact I drive a WRX. I do respect the Lancers though, they are nice cars.

I know someone who thinks he has a "JDM spec model of the Lancer OZ offered here in the US" and he said he had it dynoed at 189WHP with no turbo or nitrous. I know there is not any such thing as a special edition JDM lancer offered here, but could you please reaffirm my facts.

Also it's not a Ralliart, I think it's the model the first year it was offered. Has anyone even dynoed any where near 189WHP naturally aspirated on your cars.

He says it's a special edition rare version almost like a Type R. I know there is no such thing but if others could please post reaffirming this, he needs to be shown the truth.

No such car exists. In fact no such Japanese car exists either. I'd love to see a dyno plot though...or better yet a VIN.

he's got an OZ with "JDM" parts ... just a modded Lancer OZ. I dont believe the dyno myself .. kinda looks chopped IMO.

OK, it says the dyno is at the crank, not the wheels, and it looks like hp is more like 168. That is still a stretch for a NA Lancer, unless he did put a MIVEC in it. But someone tell me how you dyno a CAR and get CRANK numbers? I don't see where he says it's a JDM spec, though. I see him showing some JDM parts he put on it.

 

unless he pulled the motor out and put it on those dyno's that calculate crank hp..i really doubt this tho.
